Thornybeck Farm is a smallholding situated on the North Yorkshire coast. Owned by passionate farmers Jezz and Ginny Fewster, Thornybeck Farm is a family affair brought about in the last four years.
We started out in 2013 acquiring our first two Jacob sheep and a handful of chickens and ducks. We now run a pedigree flock of Jacob sheep and a pedigree herd of rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. We started by raising weaners from eight weeks of age and then acquired our own boar in 2015 and started breeding our own piglets. We rear our animals outdoors and supplement our pigs diet with fresh fruit and vegetables.
Our aim for Thornybeck Farm is to sell quality home grown local produce from animals that have been lovingly reared with the highest standard of welfare.
